First Aid Training

The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work.

The following First Aid training courses are aimed at any staff, supervisors or managers who might find themselves in a position where they need to respond to a medical emergency. Courses will give attendees skills and confidence to deal with medical emergencies in the workplace, in the home or 'on the street'.

Administering First Aid can significantly affect a victim's chances of recovery from an emergency situation. First Aid should be administered only while waiting for professional medical help to arrive and is not considered a substitute for trained medical care.
