Presentation skills (including public speaking) are very useful in many aspects of work and life. Such skills are important in business, sales, training , teaching, lecturing and many social events. Programmes will develop the confidence and capabilities of staff and managers, enabling them to give good presentations and speak well in front of groups of people. Like most things in life, preparation and practice helps!

For many people, public speaking is one of the hardest things in the world to do. Being a great communicator will also help you in being an outstanding supervisor/manager.

Included in this section are the benchmark Trainer Skills qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. These are ideal for first-time trainers who need to understand the basics of training, skills and practice or those looking to refine their techniques. The Training Skills and Practice Award is also an essential qualification (other training/teaching qualifications are also recognised) for anyone wishing to become a CIEH registered trainer.
